An integral part of my work is to engage with communities on research that is useful and practical.
I combine my research skills with years of volunteering for environmental NGOs and local organisations to create informed research towards evidence-based and collaborative community work and activism.
My background in this area can provide:
-Reviews of complex information
-Summaries of information for submission processes
-Investigation and analysis of community and individual perceptions, experiences and opinions
-Recording and transcription of oral histories and experiences
Here is a quick pecha kucha (20 slides each playing for 20 seconds) presentation which explains my Masters research, why it is important and briefly introduces the ideas of community emergency plans.
